About Our Treated Sleepers

Treated sleepers are used for garden edging, raised beds, retaining walls and decorative garden features. We stock various pressure-treated options in different sizes, including 200 x 100mm and 250 x 125mm in green and brown finishes.

Originally used in railway construction, timber sleepers have become a key material in domestic and commercial landscaping. They are strong, weather-resistant, and offer a natural appearance.

Our sleepers are supplied rough-sawn for a rustic finish and treated to UC3 standards to withstand the elements with minimal upkeep.

Pressure Treated Sleepers For Garden Borders, Retaining Walls & Outdoor Seating

Our treated sleepers are available in multiple sizes, with 2.4 metre lengths. We stock green-treated and brown-treated options for long-term outdoor resistance. The treatment penetrates the grain and gives the timber a rich green or brown tone that blends well into outdoor environments without additional finishing. Once installed, they require little ongoing maintenance.

All of our timber is responsibly sourced and will meet the structural demands of both domestic gardens and commercial outdoor spaces.

The larger 250 x 125mm sleepers are suited to more heavy-duty applications, including retaining walls, seating blocks, or step construction. Slimmer profiles are ideal for raised beds, planter boxes, and edging around patios or grass areas.

Our sleepers can also be paired with treated rough sawn timber or carcassing timber, depending on your project.
