Our Range of Kiln-Dried Untreated Carcassing Timber

Our untreated carcassing timber is available in various thicknesses and lengths, from 2.4 metres up to 6.0 metres. It is widely used in structural frameworks where no additional preservative treatment is required.

The entire range is sawn and C16 or C24 strength-graded. Kiln drying reduces moisture content for a more stable, accurate finish, while eased edges make it easier to carry, cut and fix. 

We also supply treated carcassing timber in a wide range of standard sizes, with cross-sections starting from approximately 50mm up to 225mm and lengths available from 2.4 metres up to 6.0 metres. 

Unlike treated timber, untreated carcassing timber is lighter and is often used in conjunction with plasterboard, insulation, or other dry-lining materials.
